Fr.
Robert Medley was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Metuchen on
May 26, 1990. Father Bob graduated the University of Notre Dame with a degree in
business administration and Seton
Hall
University
with a Masters of Divinity. After serving in several parishes within the
diocese, he was assigned to Queenship of Mary on July 31, 2002. In addition to serving as pastor, Father serves
as Interim Executive Director of the Department of Pastoral Life and Vice Chancellor of
the Diocese of Metuchen.

Sister
MaryRose Mroz became a Sister of Christian Charity on
Aug. 21, 1987
and pronounced her final Vows
Aug. 15, 1995. Sr. MaryRose graduated with
a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Art from the
College
of
St. Elizabeth, returning several years later to receive her Masters in Theology.
Sister taught in several schools in
New Jersey
and Pennsylvania
before discerning a move to parish ministry.
She served as pastoral associate in another parish in the diocese
before she joined the staff of Queenship of Mary on
August 8, 2005
.

Liz

Liz
comes to us with 18 years of parish office experience, having held many
positions at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville, including
Bookkeeper, Coordinator of Religious Education, Coordinator of Cemeteries,
and Parish Secretary. She is well versed in the workings of a
parish and an office, and with diocesan policies.
Liz is married to Matt, an accountant, and is the mother of three
children, Jen, a lawyer in Washington, DC, Matt, a police officer for the
Sayreville police department, and Chris, a student at Cardinal McCarrick
High School, South Amboy.

Lilia Ruffo 799

Lilia
Ruffo was born and raised in Puebla,
Mexico. After graduation from High
school, Lilia received her Secretarial Degree.
She came to the United States in 1987, where she met and married her husband Julius.
They have two daughters, Lillian and Julia.
Lilia was previously employed by the West Windsor-Plainsboro School
District and has been the parish Receptionist since 2004.
Lilia’s volunteer work includes Religious Education Assistant
Teacher. |

Jarred
Tafaro is a graduate of
Westminster Choir College in piano performance. In addition to his duties as Music Director Jarred
studies and teaches piano actively and is an amateur of philosophy and
theology. Jarred lives in Princeton Junction. |

Children’s
Choir Leader: Rosie
Karlin
Rosie
Karlin has been the director of the Children's Choir since 1999.
She is also a preschool music and Spanish teacher as well as a tap
dance teacher. A graduate of Loyola Marymount
University
in Los Angeles, Rosie was an elementary school teacher in
California before settling in Plainsboro.
Rosie,
her husband Scott, and her daughter Molly have been parishioners at
Queenship of Mary since 1996.

Mrs.
Rita Lynn Everist serves the parish community as the Director of Religious
Education. Rita graduated
Georgian
Court
University
where she completed a bachelors degree in Religious Studies and later
graduated with a Masters Degree in Theology.
Rita brings religious education experience from both urban and
suburban parishes as well as previously serving as the Director of
Catechist Certification for the Diocese of Trenton. |

Ms.
Nancy Sun serves the parish community as the Assistant of the
Religious Education
Office.
Nancy
graduated from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1986 with a
bachelor degree in Science. She has worked for real estate companies for
over 18 years. She brings with her years of administrative skills.
Daughter, Rachel, is currently a W. Windsor-Plainsboro High School
student,
Nancy
often helps with Parent Association sponsored events.
Nancy
also volunteers and donates to charities regularly.

Technician: Franco Alegria
Francisco
(Franco) Alegria, is a 1966 Accounting graduate of the Institute Superior
of Commerce in
Santiago
,
Chile
and
Hudson
Community College, Jersey City,
New Jersey. For more than 20 years, Franco has worked as Maintenance
Supervisor for different churches and Dioceses in
New Jersey, joining the Queenship of Mary family in 2003. Franco and his wife,
Olga have been married for 35 years and have 2 children, Claudia and her
husband Diego and Franco. Franco is proud to be part of the
Queenship of Mary team.

Youth
Ministry: Our
parish is seeking a part time Coordinator of Youth Ministry who is a
practicing Catholic, has excellent
leadership ability, communication, organizational and team building
skills.
A
bachelor’s degree and two years ministry experience are
preferred. Salary, number of hours and schedule are negotiable.
