Altar Servers
Altar
servers strive to create an environment of reverence and inclusion, as they
serve at the altar thus fostering full participation of the faithful while
keeping our focus on Christ Himself.
Is God calling you to be an altar server?The
responsibilities of an Altar Server are to assist the Priest during Mass,
approximately one to two times a month. Any one in 5th Grade or older can become
an Altar Server. Many Altar Servers serve their parish through their high school
years. A one hour training session
is provided by Father Robert Medley prior to beginning this ministry. As new
Altar Servers serve at Mass, they are teamed with more experienced servers who
will assist and guide them in the ministry.
