Dear Ushers,
 
Attached you will find the Usher Schedule for June 21 to July 20.  As you will notice, we are very short-handed for this summer schedule particularly at the 5:00 PM Saturday and the 8:15 AM Sunday.  May I ask that at any Mass that you attend you are prepared to fill in if needed on short notice. Always check with the Usher Captain upon your arrival. To those of you who are scheduled weekly in some cases, I will do my best to give you time off once we are fully staffed again. 
 
In addition, there are two Holy Days coming up in August - The Assumption on August 15 (8:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.) and the Feast of Queenship of Mary, August 23/24 ( a regular Saturday, Sunday Mass schedule). Ushers are needed for both so please let me know if you would like to serve at either of these Masses.

1.   Please arrive 15 minutes prior to Mass and notify the Usher Captain of  your arrival.

2.   Sign-in:  All those serving as ushers must sign the Usher Sign-In Book located near the Sacristy next to the Lector and Eucharistic Minister Sign-In Books.

3.   Badges:  Please wear your Usher Badge so that you are easily identifiable to parishioners in case of an emergency.

4.   Please welcome Parishioners attending Mass.

5.   Should a personal emergency cause you to be unable to serve on your scheduled day:

      a)   Use the Contact Sheet to find a substitute

      b)   Please notify your Usher Captain in advance with the name of your replacement so that we always have sufficient coverage of four (4) ushers at each Mass.

6.   When not scheduled to usher: Please check to see if help is needed at the Mass you are attending.

7.   Vacations:  Please give five weeks notice for vacations to facilitate scheduling in your absence.
