Our second delegation visited Guatemala during the second week of February 2009.  The Parish Partners of Santa Cruz and Queenship of Mary have decided to focus work in the aldea of La Morena. This delegation focused on building relationships within that community and learning more about it.  We spent time meeting with the leaders and people of La Morena to discern how we might work together in service.  From those meetings it was decided that the Partnership should work with the people in La Morena in building economic empowerment through a system of microfinance.
