Nursing Home Gift Drive 2026
Once again, Queenship of Mary Parish is reaching out to brighten the lives of local nursing home residents this coming Christmas. Many of these men and women have little family support and can often feel forgotten. The staff have asked if our parish might share some small tokens of care to remind their residents that they are loved.
We invite you to participate by donating from the list of suggested items below. These gifts bring comfort, warmth, and joy to the residents and are deeply appreciated.
Suggested Gift Ideas:
- Warm socks or non-slip socks
- Soft blanket or throw (twin size or smaller)
- EASY coloring books & crayons
- Stuffed animals, teddy bears, or baby dolls
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Hand & body moisturizing lotion
- Hairbrush or comb
- Lip balm
- Christmas gift bags (assorted sizes)
- Colored tissue paper
Please note: some items are restricted for resident safety, so we kindly ask that you stick to the items on this list.
A collection box will be available in the Parish Hall through Sunday, September 6th. Together, let’s share the warmth of Christ’s love with our neighbors in need.
